Presentation

Excessive vaginal bleeding lasting for >10 days. Past history of profuse bleeding during labor. Ultrasound showed tortuous dilated vascular channels in the myometrium and bilateral pelvic region.

There are extensive serpentine dilated flow voids seen in the myometrium and bilateral parametrium. 

Case Discussion

The findings and clinical history are consistent with uterine and pelvic arteriovenous malformation with internal iliac arteries as feeder and ovarian veins as drainage channels on both the sides.
