Case Discussion

Barium study reveals a large diverticulum arising from the left wall at the recto-sigmoid junction. The rectum is displaced by the diverticulum to the far right. There is a large filling defect within the diverticulum due to impacted fecal matter.

Bilateral "Double J" stents are seen.

This finding was confirmed at laparotomy done for uterine mass.

Final diagnosis: Giant colonic diverticulum
