Overinflation of the left lung:
increased volume with marked mediastinal shift and compression of the right lung
hypertransradiant left lung and anterior herniation

Overinflated left lung causing mass effect on the mediastinum and collapsed right lung.
Case Discussion
Xray and CT demonstrate typical findings of congenital lobar emphysema in a child. The currently preferred term is congenital lobar overinflation.
