Splenic subcapsular peripherally enhancing cystic lesion with intralesional air densities. Peripherally enhancing left lung encysted collection with relaxation collapse of the left lung. Lesions were drained, empyema and abscess confirmed.
Case Discussion
Abscess of the spleen and lung empyema. The differential diagnosis of pleural empyema is lung abscess.
