Infantile hypertrophic pyloric stenosis

Presentation

6 weeks old, infant presented with history of repeated vomiting immediately after feeding.

Patient Data

Age: 6 weeks
Gender: Male
ultrasound

On longitudinal axis the pyloric musculature which is hypoechoic looks thickened and its thickness measures 5.1 mm, and the length of the pyloric canal measures 16.1 mm. Cervix sign, Antral nipple sign  and target sign can be well appreciated.
