Brain:

  1. tonsillar herniation, 15mm below foramen magnum

  2. small posterior fossa

  3. hydrocephalus: extensive

  4. absent corpus callosum

Spine:

  1. large thoracolumbar cystic mass with cord and nerve root within it (myelomeningocele)

  2. syringomyelia in mid-thoracic cord

  3. no tethered cord

Case Discussion

The findings are consistent with Chiari II malformation.
