There is a long segment of moderate diffuse mural thickening (1-2 cms) with enhancement involving the terminal ileum with prominent mesenteric edema and vasculature giving the comb sign.
There is evidence of multiple enhanced small collections in the mesentery adjacent to the inflamed bowel loop with air and fluid contents, consistent with abscesses.
Case Discussion
Known case of Crohn disease with active inflammation of a long segment of the terminal ileum and evidence of mesenteric abscesses and comb sign.
