Radiolucency is noted in the right costophrenic angle with sharp angle in keeping of pneumothorax.
Left costophrenic angle is mildly blunted silhouetting left hemidiaphragm could be due to mild pleural effusion.
Case Discussion
Radiolucent costophrenic angle with sharp right hemidiaphragm and absence of bronchovascular markings suggestive of pneumothorax in supine chest radiograph. In cases where it is dubious, a lateral radiograph can be used to confirm.
