Large defect is present at anteromedial aspect of right hemidiaphragm that some omental fat and part of colon are herniated through into the right hemithorax, inferring Morgagni hernia.
Partial collapse is present at T6 and T12 vertebral bodies.
Partial collapse is also observed at almost all lumbar vertebrae.
Degenerative changes as osteophytosis are seen at the thoracolumbar spine.
The uterus is not seen due to prior resection.
Case Discussion
Morgagni hernias most often contain omental fat, but transverse colon (60%) or stomach (12%) may be included within the hernia.
