Cirrhotic liver. Main portal vein thrombosis extending from the superior mesenteric vein into the right and left portal veins. Large volume of ascites. Bilateral obturator hernias containing fluid, larger on the left.
Case Discussion
Patient with cirrhosis who developed portal vein thrombosis with clot extending from the superior mesenteric vein.
Extensive ascites with bilateral fluid-containing obturator hernias.
