Derek Smith ◉

Derek Smith is a neuroradiology consultant with interests in neurooncology, head and neck imaging and neurotrauma. He joined the Radiopaedia editorial group in 2015 and helped develop the student summary pages and FRCR exam materials. During training, he spent additional years as a teaching fellow, and is currently the Undergraduate Lead for Diagnostics with the University of Edinburgh. He has spoken at a number of virtual and in-person Radiopaedia events, and has presented work on radiology education at RSNA, the British Society of Neuroradiologists and British Society of Head and Neck Imaging.
