There is increased density of the pericolic fat in relation to multiple diverticula at proximal sigmoid and distal descending colon. Posteromedially, there is a 2 cm extraluminal gas with some further peripheral fat stranding. It appears to displace the bowel lumen anterolaterally and likely represents a contained perforation. Alternatively it may represent a particularly large diverticulum. No collections and no free intra-abdominal gas.
