Abdominal pain and dyspepsia.
Patient Data
Diffusely increased wall thickness, due to tumoral infiltration is present in the stomach, resembling linitis plastica and is accompanied by surrounding fat stranding, several regional lymphadenopathies with maximum SAD of 13 mm, mild ascites and several peritoneal soft tissue density masses less than 25mm, inferring tumoral deposits.
There are also several lymphadenopathies at para celiac and paraaortic regions with a maximum SAD of 15 mm.
Multiple thin-walled cysts are seen in the liver, less than 12 mm.
Uncomplicated colonic diverticulosis.
Case Discussion
Pathology proven gastric adenocarcinoma (signet ring type) which is causing linitis plastica.
