Gastrointestinal stromal tumor of the stomach mimics adrenal metastasis
Presentation
Known and operated case of breast cancer. Work up for metastasis.
Patient Data

A 40 × 30 mm well-defined heterogeneously enhancing mass is noted between the left adrenal gland and stomach, which seems to originate from the stomach, is better seen on coronal images and is most consistent with gastric GIST.
Postoperative changes are seen due to left mastectomy and axillary lymphadenectomy.
A tiny amount of pleural effusion is present bilaterally.
The hepatic attenuation value is less than the spleen, suggesting fatty liver disease.
The right hemidiaphragm is elevated.
A 43 mm simple cortical cyst is noted at the mid portion of the left kidney.
