Ill-defined lucency in the distal femur is noted, with a wide zone of transition and onion-skin periosteal reaction. 

CT confirms this finding with onion-skin periosteal reaction and aggressive lysis of bone.

This mass was confirmed to be a Ewing sarcoma of the distal femur in a 9 year old boy with onion skin periosteal reaction.
