Info

Large central expansile intra medullary abnormal signal intensity lesion in the metaphyso-diaphyseal region of the left humerus.

It returns high signal in T2 weighted images and low signal in T1 weighted images with fluid-fluid level could be secondary to hemorrhage.

Irregularity of the lesion walls with surrounding muscular edema in favor of semi recent fracture.

Case Discussion

The features are compatible with unicameral bone cyst associated with sub acute fracture in the proximal metaphyso-diaphyseal region of left humerus and surrounding muscular edema.
