The arcade of Frohse (pronounced "\ Frəʊs \" to rhyme with "crows") is also know as the "supinator arch."
The arcade is formed betweenby a fibrous band between the two heads of the supinator muscle. The deep branch of the radial nerve passes beneath the arcade and can become entrapped, leading to posterior interosseous nerve syndrome.
Caution should be exercised when evaluating the deep branch of the radial nerve since it may change shape after passing under the arcade and still be normal 2.
