Practical points is a special part of some articles. It is a section to highlight key features of the condition being discussed, which aid in diagnosis or interpretation (pearls) as well as some of the mistakes to be avoided (pitfalls). When present, it is one of the main subheadings.

Location

The "Practical points" subheading is located atnear the end, after "Differential diagnosis", but before "See also" (which is also an optional section).

Structure

This section should be in bullet form, and follow the same order as the article above, but be limited to crucial information. Thus, for example, unless there is an important epidemiological feature, that section can be omitted etc.
