Tibiotalocalcaneal arthrodesis

Tibiotalocalcaneal (TTC) arthrodesis is an orthopaedic procedure fusing the tibiotalar and subtalar joints. It is usually performed with an intramedullary nail vertically inserted in a retrograde fashion through the plantar surface of the hindfoot across the subtalar and tibiotalar joints.

Severe arthritis involving the tibiotalar and subtalar joints due to:

  • infection
  • non-union
