Presentation
Chest pain
Patient Data
Right-sided aortic arch which gives off left common carotid artery, right brachiocephalic artery, and then crosses to the left to give off left subclavian artery from a small diverticulum. No other diverticula.
Right-sided aortic arch with left-sided descending aorta. Slight vascular impression along the right side of the trachea.
Case Discussion
Incidental finding in an adult of right-sided ascending aorta which crosses the midline to become a left-sided descending aorta. The differential includes right circumflex aorta and double aortic arch with atresia of the left arch.
The right-sided aortic arch creates an impression along the right aspect of the trachea.
