Epididymo-orchitis

Presentation

Headache, myalgia, and left scrotal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 14 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound

The testes are normal in size and relatively symmetric. The left epididymis and testicle are asymmetrically hyperaemic.

Two echogenic foci are noted within the right hemiscrotum.

Case Discussion

This is a case of epididymo-orchitis. Incidental note was also made of scrotoliths within the right hemiscrotum. The patient was treated conservatively. The patient was followed up by his primary care physician, who noted symptom resolution.
