Case Discussion

Ureterocele is a congenital anomaly characterized by a cystic dilation of the distal ureter, leading to a ballooning appearance within the bladder. It can occur in both children and adults, presenting with a variety of symptoms, ranging from asymptomatic to severe complications such as recurrent UTIs, urinary obstruction, and impaired renal function.

Ureterocele presents as a bulbous cystic expansion in the bladder trigone on ultrasound and a cobra head appearance on contrast CT urograms.
