A male patient with a history of bilharizial infection earlier underwent treatment. Now describes abdominal pain and altered liver function.

A calcified thrombus of the main trunk of portal vein with thrombosed main branches. Enlarged spleen with dilated hilar portosystemic collaterals.
A retro-aortic course of the left renal vein is incidentally noted.
Case Discussion
A male patient describes abdominal pain with abnormal liver function. The patient had calcified thrombus of the main trunk of the portal vein as well as thrombosed main branches.
Multiple dilated collaterals suggestive of portal hypertension are demonstrated as well.
Incidentally discovered a type I retroaorti course of the left renal vein.
