The mid shaft of fibula demonstrates an aggressive, malignant appearing lesion with a sun-burst type of periosteal reaction and cloudy mineralization of the mass itself. At the margin of the lesion a Codman triangle is present.
Case Discussion
Aggressive periosteal reaction -sunburst type. Combined with the cloudy cotton-wool pattern of lesion mineralization, osteosarcoma is the most likely diagnosis.
