Right middle lobe pneumonia

A circumscribed consolidation is visible medially in the right lower lung zone. The right heart border is not effaced, however, the silhouette sign is not a foolproof feature. A slightly elevated right hilum is also apparent.
Case Discussion
Considering the clinical picture as well as the lab results, the chest x-ray findings are in line with right middle lobe pneumonia.
