The MRI sequences demonstrate a large right ovarian complex mass (12 x 11 x 9 cm) predominantly cystic, of low signal on T1WI, high signal on T2WI with regular peripheral enhancement on postcontrast sequences. It contains two small mural nodules (anterior and right posterolateral location) of high signal on T1WI, attenuated on T1 fat saturation (fatty components). A posterior area of high T1WI/T1 fat saturation and low signal on T2WI is noted within the cyst (bleeding within the cyst).

The uterus and left ovary are normal.
