Presentation

Abdominal pain, vomiting. No fever.

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Female

Mildly enlarged liver.

Right hepatic artery replaced to the SMA.

Circumaortic left renal vein, with a duplicated retroaortic left renal vein that fuses at the left renal hilum.

Case Discussion

A duplicated retroaortic left renal vein is very rare.
An even rarer variant is when it forms the posterior part of a circumaortic left renal vein.
