There is a vertically oriented linear bone flake lateral to the lateral malleolus with local soft tissue thickening. There is no bone lesion or dislocation.
Case Discussion
The case shows lateral malleolar fleck sign, which is pathognomonic for the superior peroneal retinacular avulsion.
