A dense band encased in the left eye uveo-scleral layer is seen which has reduced the volume of the left eye.
Case Discussion
The case illustrates the implanted scleral buckle in the left eye uveo-scleral layer which is one of the main treatments of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment and decreases the recurrence rate of the retinal detachment. Infection is one of the major complications of the scleral buckle.
