Severe acute chest pain

Age: 80
Gender: Female
Modality: CT

Patient was scanned within 10 min of arrival.

Ascending aortic dilatation with internal intimal flap is seen favouring aortic dissection which involved ascending aorta and aortic arc. Aortic aneurysm with mural thrombosis also is noted at abdominal aorta.

Dilatation with internal intimal flap which involved ascending aorta and extend into aortic arc favouring type A standford aortic dissection . Aortic aneurysm with mural thrombosis also is noted at abdominal aorta.
