Biceps femoris muscle injury

Tried to catch a cricket ball 15 days ago. Complaining of posterior thigh pain.

Patient Data

Age: 27 years
Gender: Male

There is no bony abnormality.


At the site of pain pointed by the patient, there is a fluid collection replacing the biceps femoris muscle fibers - hematoma. There is an extra-muscular fluid crescent favoring tear of muscle sheath locally.
