Presentation

Fall from chair ten days ago with progressively altered consciousness.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Male

Bilateral crescent-shaped frontoparietal subdural hematoma of high signal intensity on T1, T2, and FLAIR sequences with internal sediments of low signal, indicating a late subacute subdural hematoma (methemoglobin free). Note the symmetrical mass effect on the midline structures.

Subarachnoid FLAIR hyperintensities at the frontoparietal regions most likely associated subarachnoid hemorrhage.
