Mild narrowing of the T11-T12 disc space. The T11 and T12 vertebral bodies and their pedicles are of low signal on T1, high signal on T2, and STIR sequences with enhancement on post-contrast sequences in keeping with a bone marrow edema. No significant thickening or enhancement nor abscess formation of the prevertebral or epidural spaces.
Case Discussion
MRI features of T11-T12 spondylodiscitis. The laboratory investigations were positive for brucellosis.
