Marked diffuse cerebellar atrophic changes are seen, along with milder changes involving the cerebrum, seen as dilated cerebellar folia, small-sized cerebellum and dilated cerebral subarachnoid spaces.

CT findings are consistent with diffuse cerebellar atrophy. Many causes are involved in cerebellar atrophy among them is chronic drug use (e.g. Phenytoin). Differential diagnosis of diffuse cerebellar atrophy includes cerebellar hypoplasia and mega cisterna magna.
