PathologicallyThis is a case of pathologically proven choroid plexus papilloma. This case illustrates typical appearances of a choroid plexus papilloma in a child, although the location within the 4th ventricle is more characteristic of adult CPP. In children, it most frequently arises in the trigone of the lateral ventricles.
