Presentation

Back pain with urinary incontinence today and motor deficit in lower limbs MRI. Cauda equina compression?

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female

Normal vertebral alignment. No bone lesion.

Large L5/S1 disc protrusion causing cauda equina compression.

Small diffuse disc bulge at L3/L4 and L4/L5 without canal or foraminal stenosis.

Case Discussion

The classical presentation and findings of cauda equina compression, in this case due to a L5/S1 disc protrusion.
