Patellofemoral joints are narrowed with osteophytosis.
Case Discussion
Plain CT scan shows a double-layered patellae with secondary degenerative changes. Double-layered patella (DLP) is a rare form of bipartite patella, it is a congenital anomaly which presents as a multiple fragmented patella with smooth, well-corticated borders. Double-layered patella is pathognomonic for multiple epiphyseal dysplasia.
