Two accessory ossicles are located posterior to the superior margin of the manubrium.
There is a 3 x 2 cm pulmonary mass located dorsally to the left inferior pulmonary vein, which is likely to be a metastasis secondary to known rectal cancer.
Case Discussion
Episternal ossicles are accessory ossicles located superior and/or posterior to the superior border of the manubrium. They are present in about 4% of the population and are usually asymptomatic.
