Focal uterine adenomyosis

The well-defined solid mass lesion in the anterior wall of the uterus showing low T1 and T2 signal intensities with post-contrast enhancement similar to the uterine wall.
Ill-defined mass lesion in the posterior wall of the uterus showing multiple T2 hyperintense foci with post-contrast diffuse enhancement. The junctional zone is thickened.
Case Discussion
This case shows 1) intramural fibroid in the anterior uterine wall, and 2) focal adenomyosis in the posterior uterine wall.
