Disc spacer with anterior plate and screws transfixing the C5/6 disc. Note gas-filled wound tract outlining the surgical route ie left anterior neck skin incision, passing medial ro external jugular vein, lateral to the larynx but deep (medial) to the carotid vessels and internal jugular down to the anterior cervical spine
