Osteoarthritis of both facet joints at L4/5 with a large right synovial cyst protruding into the spinal canal and displacing the L5 root.
Case Discussion
These juxtaarticular cysts do not always possess the signal characteristics of a simple cyst, so IV contrast may be needed in some cases.
