Biopsy proven left breast carcinoma underwent left mastectomy with breast reconstruction by latissimus dorsi flap.
Case Discussion
Breast autologous flap with a latissimus dorsi flap. The flap is harvested from the upper back. It is seen extending from its lateral origin toward the anterior chest wall to form the mound of the breast. It appears rounded rather than in a triangular configuration. It is frequently combined with an implant.
