Longitudinal distal humeral fracture (adolescent)

On the frontal view, there is a longitudinal linear fracture that extends through the metaphysis and trochlea, all the way to the joint line. The fracture is not visible on the lateral view.
Case Discussion
This fracture type is an unusual elbow fracture. However, in adolescents, the classical pediatric pathologies reduce in frequency and these type of unusual patterns appear. It's worth noting the in adolescents, pediatric and adult patterns can both be seen.
