There are volume loss, obscuration of the internal structures and increased T2 and FLAIR signal of the left hippocampus. Ther is also enlargement of the ipsilateral temporal horn and choroidal fissure.
The right hippocampus is normal.
Case Discussion
Findings are consistent with a left mesial temporal sclerosis.
