Multiple isointense T1, hyperintense T2 vertebral infiltrative lesions with partial collapse of the L1 and L2 vertebral bodies with posterior bulge and encroachment on the spinal canal.
Right paravertebral soft tissue mass of high T2 signal at the upper thoracic level
Multiple areas of abnormal T2 high signal with bone expansion and extraosseous soft tissue at the lumbar level
Case Discussion
The patient was referred from the medical oncology unit having been diagnosed with multiple myeloma and was coming for assessment of the vertebral lesions.
