The pituitary gland is plump, upwardly convex, but in this age group normal in size and (10 x 11 x 13 mm), signal, and dynamic contrast enhancement.

The infundibulum is in the midline position.

Optic chiasm, cavernous sinuses, and suprasellar region appear unremarkable.

High signal foci in T2 sequence at the subcortical and periventricular white matter of both cerebral hemispheres depict microvascular ischemic events.
