A well-corticated small osseous fragment is noted lateral to the cuboid.
The calcaneal spur is seen.
The bony prominence of the posterosuperior aspect of the calcaneus at the site of the achilles tendon insertion, suggesting enthesopathy.
No evidence of fracture or other osseous pathology.
Case Discussion
An os peroneum is a small accessory bone located just proximal to the base of the fifth metatarsal and located within the substance of peroneus longus tendon as it arches around the cuboid.
