Trauma one month ago with persistent right ankle pain

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

An osteochondral fragment is seen at the medial aspect of the talar dome.

Os trigonum is also noted.

Case Discussion

A 30-year-old male patient was referred to our hospital with the chief complaint of persisting ankle pain following trauma, x-ray was done but inconclusive.  

Computed tomography (CT) scans indicated a subchondral bone defect in the talus that occupied almost 30% of the articular surface.
