A sessile bony mass arising from the posteromedial aspect of the proximal tibial metaphysis displacing the overlying popliteus muscle. The medullary cavity, as well as the cortex, are in continuity with those of the parent bone with thinning of the cortex. No fracture or periosteal reaction is seen.
