Presentation

Nocturnal left hip pain which wakes the patient ,back pain due to scoliosis.

There are no important radiological changes after 15 monthes

Case Discussion

An osteoid osteoma is a painful but benign tumour of bone. It typically occurs in adolescents and children and has characteristic appearances.

This entity is usually found in children and adolescents with the vast majority of cases occur in those between 10 - 35 years of age 2. There is a predilection for males (M : F of ~ 2 - 4 : 1) 1-2. It is relatively common, accounting for up to 10% of all benign bone lesions 2.
